Social Bias is the New Religion
Discussing how social media, influencers, and followers reprogram your mind through the big social media outlets.
Since the birth of social media, people can like, read, and comment to their hearts content from anyone across the globe. It’s almost as if Jesus (if you’re a Christian) was reborn as an electronic form of communication to spread ‘the word’ (the post or video) and big tech social media has become a church-like realm of mythological Gods trying to win your attention.
Media and Politicians have entered the spaces, realizing that the vast influence that ‘the word’ of social media has on the human mind, to the point of humankind has lost its sense of reality and ways of thinking on their own.
Jesus had followers. Social media accounts have followers. I don’t think anyone could put this more simply into a more logical form of understanding.
These posts, likes, and shares have reprogrammed us from seeing things with a sense of logic to a place where ‘the word’ has become the new religion of the world. Even ChatGPT has programmed our brains to speak differently by planting new buzzwords in our vocabulary.
Think of this as a job that you do for your employer every day. Your employer (your God) has a standard for which every employee must follow in order to uphold their reputation and service or product. Your mind was trained to do these tasks without question in order to receive compensation (outcome of prayer), just like everyone else in the company from the frontline employee to the CEO (the followers). It’s this design that keeps you employed and programmed, or simply put, within the company (religion) you serve.
Does this make sense?
Social Bias is the New Religion, just like a corporate business. Humankind actually believes the bias written by others to make you think differently by reaching millions, if not billions of people to form a new belief, false information, or simply a meaningful of nothingness through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
So, my question is are you able to think for yourself, or are you one of millions of people who have been influenced by social media in one way or another? Think of the last presidential election. If you didn’t think for yourself and your own values or beliefs, you’re probably suffering now.
